T-Shirt Design: Pascal's Peeps
Emily's son Pascal was diagnosed with Spina Bifida while still in the womb and in a short amount of time her and her husband had to temporarily uproot to Philadelphia for the surgery at CHOP.
I was asked to create a shirt for a fundraiser that would also celebrate Pascal's "first birthday". Using the inspiration of the peep snack, I picked a fun, bubbly typeface for the logo. The colors represented are directly associated with Spina Bifida. |
Say hello to Emily and Pascal!
In her own words:
"Most people do not find out that there is something wrong with their child until their ultrasound at 20 weeks gestation. Fetal surgery must be performed by 25 weeks gestation. For this reason, time is of the essence." "We want to give back to the area who did so much for our precious miracle. We want to help new families who are doing exactly what we did. That is why all proceeds from our T-shirt fundraiser are going to go to Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia. The money we raise will help them to continue to provide a comfortable home away from home for families." |
