photo MANIPULATION: STAR WARS POSTER CHALLENGE
Around the end of November I decided test my photo editing, color, light, composition, etc. skills to create a Star Wars poster. I did it out of a need to make art, to pay homage to a wonderful story, and frankly for my own sanity. (And you know, STAR WARS.) I got a good reception so I created another, then another. Then it was one more, and then another until I thought, to hell with it, and imposed the challenge on myself to do one each day for the month of December.
Eventually the challenge I set became a habit, and I found myself not only setting aside the time to complete them, but doing several posters in advance in case I couldn’t. I guess the moral of the story (at least for me) is the hardest decision in creating anything is making the decision to do it in the first place.
Special thanks to everyone across my social sites for the likes, reblogs, encouragement, and everything in between. This has been one hell of an adventure and I loved every second. Now I challenge you to challenge yourself. Go forth and create.
